Meet The Trustees
Feh Tarty
Feh is originally from Monrovia, Liberia. His work at some of the most influential advertising agencies in the US and UK helped to strengthen brands, build businesses, and win many of the industry’s highly coveted awards — including an Emmy, D&AD Black Pencil, and Gold Cannes Lions.
As Meta’s former Global Creative Director of Social Impact, Feh leveraged the tech platform to drive positive change for societal and environmental issues around the world. His impact-focused and creatively-led approach to innovative storytelling raised awareness and enabled people to take action.
The re-establishment of land care back to indigenous communities is a cause that sits close to Feh’s heart. Feh’s father, the late Alben David Queah Tarty Sr., was deeply involved in his native Palipo community, which is part of the larger Grebo ethnic group in Liberia, West Africa. For nearly a decade, he served as president of Palipo’s Youth Association, where he worked to mobilize the Palipo community living in Monrovia and advocate for the interests of the Palipo people at large. His efforts spanned the preservation of land, traditions, and native rights, exemplifying the deep-rooted connection and sustainable practices that indigenous communities like Palipo have historically maintained. Inspired by this legacy, Feh supports the movement among Western conservation groups to return land stewardship to indigenous communities, recognizing their proven track record of maintaining ecological harmony and biodiversity.
